Cindy Crisler, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on July 23rd at the age of 71. Born on February 17th, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas, she was a devoted spouse to John,
mother to Melissa and she adored her grandchildren Trey and Grant along with her great grandson Hudson.
Cindy was a steadfast presence in the community, dedicating countless hours to volunteer work with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Ladies of Harley and countless other organizations.
Her passion for volunteering was evident in her tireless efforts to improve the lives of others.
Cindy was a dedicated Dental Hygienist, graduating from Del Mar College in 1978, she spent over four decades at Trail Creek Dental working in her beloved career. Her commitment earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and patients. She loved her Trail Creek Dental family and patients dearly, many of her patients she had known for years and cared for multiple generations in some patients; families.
Because of her love for her profession and her dear friends, she served her fellow Dental Hygienists throughout her entire career in many ways by being their voice and advocate on the Greater Fort Worth Dental Hygienist Association, the Texas Dental Hygienist Association, the American Dental Hygienist Association and HYPAC on the national level. One of her
greatest honors was when she was selected by her peers to serve as president of the Texas Dental Hygienist Association.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious smile. Cindy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and patients.
Mass will be held on Friday, August 9th at 10:30, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, followed by a celebration of her life at 2:00 at the home of her daughter, Melissa, 7616 Chestnut Ln in North Richland Hills. Interment ceremony at DFW National Cemetery on Tuesday, August 13th at 11:15. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
Cindy is survived by her husband John Crisler, daughter Melissa Flowers along with her husband Travis, grandchildren Trey, his wife Cheyenne, Grant and great grandson Hudson. Her sister Cathy Stubbins and her husband Tom, their children and grandchildren; Sister-in-Law Pam Huie, along with her children and grandchildren. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Huie Jr., Wanza Huie and brother Mike Huie.
